Helsingkronaspexet
The Spex is one of the nation's biggest committees.
Every spring the Helsingkrona script group presents a brand new script. This is the foundation of the spex that the ensemble will work with during the year, a work which results in a total of six brilliant performances (and two dress rehearsals!).
The spex is mainly active during the spex periods, about a month per semester.
Most of the work takes place in spring, when we start working with the new spex. It´s an intense and fun work, when we create décor and scenes, sew costumes and make props, rehearse on and off stage, with and without the band. Light and sound is added, and we start putting up posters, not forgetting to have a few drinks and laughs along the way. The autumn show is a must, maybe that's when you really get to enjoy the fruit of all the hard work you have put in during spring!
There's always something to do, like helping out in the kitchen, which is a great way to get insight of how we work behind the scenes at one of the best shows in Lund!
Those who wish to be on stage have to come to the auditions which take place twice a year. ALL ARE WELCOME!
There is also an orchestra that might be interested in having new musicians.
